LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is an incredibly unique individual.

Possessing a thick cajun drawl, Orgeron is a gruff, fiery, intense, and passionate individual. Players love him, and Louisiana natives can relate to him. It helps in making Orgeron one of the best recruiters in the entire country.

2017 QB commitment Lowell Narcisse tends to agree with the sentiment. A native of Saint James, La., the 4-star signal-caller is incredibly excited to play under Orgeron’s leadership. He echoed this with Gridiron Now:

“There’s nothing like having someone from the same state and being able to relate to you. Being that he lived only about 20 minutes from where I grew up, we have been through some similar things. So it’s just a blessing to have someone that can relate to you.”

The ability to relate to prospects is exactly why Orgeron is such a dynamic individual out on the recruiting trails. LSU fans should be extremely thrilled — considering Orgeron plans on putting up a fence around the state, with the hopes of keeping all of the top prospects at home.

Narcisse will be an early enrollee. He’ll pair with fellow ’17 QB pledge Myles Brennan to immensely help build up the depth at the quarterback position in Baton Rouge.
