The LSU Tigers have produced some talented defensive linemen over the years, and now they’re bringing one of them back to Baton Rouge.

According to a report from LSUNow.com on Saturday evening, the Tigers are adding a player to coach Ed Orgeron’s staff who graduated following the 2017 season.

Christian LaCouture, who was an undrafted free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft, will join the Tiger coaching staff as a graduate assistant helping with the defensive line:

Former LSU defensive lineman Christian LaCouture (2013-2017) is set to join Ed Orgeron’s coaching staff as an assistant defensive line coach, an LSU official confirmed.

Adding LaCouture brings some youth to the assistant group, and he played with several of the guys who are still on the roster.

After going undrafted in the NFL Draft, LaCouture was signed by the Baltimore Ravens, but was released before the season started.
