After the SEC’s announcement that the LSU-Florida game that was previously postponed would be moved to Nov. 19 and played in Baton Rouge, many wondered if it would be considered an official Tigers home game.

Recruiting and official visits have been a much discussed subplot in the negotiations. From Florida’s perspective, LSU was by far the most attractive opponent on its home schedule in drawing recruits for official visits. Now LSU will get to host recruits in Baton Rouge on Nov. 19.

Since the 2016 contest is now officially an LSU home game, UF will be getting to host the 2017 and 2018 meetings in Gainesville as home games.
