LSU has added some help in the trenches.

The Tigers added Buford, Georgia offensive tackle Paul Mubenga Thursday, luring him from Michigan, who was considered a favorite to land the 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman.

Mubenga is LSU’s first offensive lineman commit of the 2023 class, one that is ranked No. 7 in the nation after his commitment. The Tigers have one 5-star commitment in the class, wide receiver Jalen Brown.

Mubenga is considered to be the No. 62 offensive tackle in the cycle, as well as the No. 60 prospect from the state of Georgia, per 247 Sports composite rankings.
