LSU fans erupt after huge upset win over Georgia
LSU fans — and others around the SEC — didn’t waste any time celebrating a big upset of No. 2 Georgia on Saturday.
Along with stuffing a fake field goal attempt by Georgia, LSU made it 11 straight games that it hasn’t defense hasn’t allowed a first quarter TD. LSU hasn’t allowed a first quarter TD since the Alabama game last year. LSU has outscored opponents 62-6 in the first quarter this year.
The win also put more spotlight on LSU’s schedule resume, and how they bounced back from last week’s loss at Florida.
