LSU fans, media lament horrible defense at Mizzou
After a lousy showing from LSU’s defense against Ole Miss last week, the Tigers’ defense is not looking much better this week.
LSU trails Missouri 15-7 at the end of the first quarter and the defense has been nonexistent. LSU has already given up 139 passing yards and 23 rushing yards. Missouri went down the field and scored easily on the first drive of the game, taking the ball 87 yards to take an 8-0 lead. Then after LSU matched with a touchdown, the Tigers once again carved through LSU’s defense to tack on another touchdown on a 21-yard run from Cody Schrader.
LSU’s defense will need to step up if it wants to avoid a 2nd-straight loss and a 3rd loss of the season. If not, the Tigers can just hope their offense will keep them in the game.
With the poor defensive effort, LSU fans and media took to social media to express their frustrations.
LSU Defense is lost. No one finds the ball, no pursuit, can’t even line up. It’s the worst I’ve seen at LSU.

Those BK "have it your way" commercials hit different with this LSU defense.

Luther Burden gets behind Andre Sam for a 35-yard gain to the #LSU 40. Mizzou quickly on the move, and just as quickly LSU's pass defense looks vulnerable.

Worst LSU defense in history. Just a clown show. Missouri already has 162 yards total offense and 15 points on its first two possessions. Again no pass pressure, defensive backs who can’t cover diddly squat.
