The reigning SEC regular-season champions are going to look completely different on the court next season.

That’s because LSU has now lost five players early to the 2019 NBA Draft with the latest departure coming from freshman forward Emmitt Williams. Williams joins Javonte Smart, Naz Reid, Skylar Mays and Tremont Waters as early entrants for the draft following the Tigers’ historic basketball season.

Williams appeared in 34 games last season, starting eight for the Tigers. He averaged seven points per game, 5.4 rebounds and averaged 19.8 minutes on the court.

The freshman from Fort Myers, Fla., signed with LSU after being ranked as a five-star prospect and a top 25 overall prospect in the nation. He broke Lebron James’ scoring record in the Jordan Brand Classic as he put up 44 points in the high school All-American game before arriving at LSU.
