LSU hoops earns commit from 4-star prospect in Class of 2024
It’s been a good day for LSU athletics.
The gridiron Tigers scored a key win over No. 21 Mizzou Saturday and soon after Matt McMahon and Co. earned a pledge from high 4-star point guard Curtis Givens.
Givens, a 6-3 point guard out of Monteverde Academy in Florida who originally hails from Memphis, is a strong prospect. He’s rated as the No. 5 PG in the Class of 2024 and committed following an official visit to Baton Rouge on July 26.
He chose the Tigers over offers from Indiana, UConn, Memphis, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Texas, Villanova and many, many others.
