LSU K Cade York signs NIL deal with popular cheese, queso company
LSU kicker Cade York is joining in on the NIL movement and has signed a deal with Velveeta as part of its “queso rich” and “queso contract” marketing theme.
York is off to a great start this season, and has made all 4 of his field goal attempts through LSU’s first 3 games. York broke the record twice on Sept. 11 during LSU’s victory over McNeese for the longest field goal made in Tiger Stadium with a a 55-yarder in the second quarter and a 56-yarder in the fourth quarter.
He has also made all 13 of his extra point attempts.
York last season made a game-winning 57-yard field goal in the fog to help the Tigers beat No. 6 Florida, 37-34, and he later earned second team All-America honors from the Associated Press.
