Alabama and LSU are getting ready for what looks to be another strong battle, and Tigers LB Devin White wasted no time getting in a verbal shot Monday.

The rivalry between the Tide and Tigers has been a rough one for LSU fans for sometime now. Alabama has won six straight meetings, and included in that streak is a 21-0 shutout of the Tigers in the 2012 BCS National Championship Game.

The last win by LSU in the series was a 9-6 overtime victory in 2011, but White believes it is time for the Tigers to even things up a bit.

When asked about the rivalry, White addressed Alabama as a bigger brother that LSU hasn’t been able to beat up in a while. Still, White was very clear with who he believes is the stronger team this year.

Mike Gaither shared White’s comments on Twitter:

It is good to see White and the Tigers are confident heading into Saturday, but it will be no easy task come game time. The Crimson Tide are ranked No. 1 and will be at home for the matchup.

Kickoff for the game is set for 8 pm EST on CBS.
