This loss will be a tough one for LSU to swallow as starting center Will Clapp has just announced he will leave school early for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Clapp becomes the sixth Tiger to leave the program early for the NFL joining Derrius Guice, Donte Jackson, Arden Key, Toby Weathersby and Kevin Toliver. That’s a ton of star power the Tigers will be asked to replace in 2018. Clapp’s departure, however, may sting the most given the issues LSU currently have up front on the offensive line.

Clapp started up front all three years at LSU at multiple positions including all three middle spots on the offensive line.
