LSU left tackle Jerald Hawkins missed warmups Saturday, and will not start for the Tigers against Ole Miss.

Hawkins suffered an ankle injury during the Tigers’ loss to Arkansas last week.

On Wednesday, LSU coach Les Miles indicated he expected Hawkins to play today.

It’s been a long time since Hawkins has watched the LSU offense from the sideline. He has started the last 35 games on the Tigers’ offensive line.

Right tackle Vadal Alexander will move to left tackle for the Tigers. Freshman Toby Weathersby will be LSU’s right tackle. The No. 15 Tigers (7-2) play No. 22 Ole Miss (7-3) at 3:30 p.m. The game will be shown on CBS.
