LSU OC Steve Ensminger takes blame for shutout loss to Alabama

Earlier this year, LSU fell 29-0 at home to rival Alabama — the Tigers’ worst loss of the season.

Obviously, when you score zero points, the offense had a bad day, but this was a horrible performance for OC Steve Ensminger’s crew.

On Friday, he was asked if he thought there was anything he could have done better this year and he said no. Asked specifically about the Alabama game, though, he admitted he did a poor job and accepted the blame:

Outside of that, the Tigers lost only two road games all year, and one was a ridiculous seven-overtime thriller in Texas A&M.

The Tigers will have a chance to pick up win No. 10 against UCF on New Year’s Day in the Fiesta Bowl, and many will be rooting for LSU to knock off the undefeated Knights.
