LSU OL Garrett Brumfield, DB John Battle IV reveal NFL decisions
The LSU offensive line has already lost Troy Weathersby and Will Clapp to the NFL Draft early, so the Tigers were in need of some good news.
On Monday evening, they got it, just ahead of the deadline for juniors to declare for the draft.
Not only did OL Garrett Brumfield announce his return to Baton Rouge, as you can see below, but a defender did as well:
I'm coming back. Geaux Tigers. #LME

The other player was DB John Battle IV, who will also return for his senior year:

With six players leaving early, the Tigers have their most early entrants in the NFL Draft since 2014, when they had seven:
Story: OG Garrett Brumfield is returning to #LSU as a fifth-year senior, bypassing the NFL.
Tigers end the 2017-18 cycle having lost six underclassmen to the draft. Brumfield's return is essential after Weathersby and Clapp departures. https://t.co/jnCN5LaycF pic.twitter.com/U5yvzF0sJr

With so many players leaving early, it was good for coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers to get some better news late on Monday evening.
