LSU will be without a key piece of its offense on Saturday in the Tigers’ final non-conference game against Georgia State.

Logan Diggs, LSU’s top running back, will miss Saturday’s game according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Diggs was listed as doubtful earlier this week after missing last Saturday’s matchup against Florida with an upper body injury.

Diggs has notched 635 yards and 6 touchdowns on the season, leading LSU’s running back group. He trails just Jayden Daniels on rushing yards on the season for LSU.

Even without its top running back, LSU should have no issues in Saturday’s matchup against Georgia State. The Tigers are coming off a historic offensive game where they posted 701 yards and 52 points. LSU is looking to keep its foot on the gas this week and get another big win before closing out its season against Texas A&M.

Georgia State is on a 3-game losing skid and looking for a big upset on Saturday.
