LSU reportedly poaches director of player personnel from SEC rival
LSU has found its new director of player personnel from an SEC rival, according to reports, including FootballScoop.
Preston Tiffany of Ole Miss has worked with the Rebels for more than 3 years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He’s worked in various roles, including recruiting and personnel assistant, coordinator of personnel and most recently, director of player personnel.
Tiffany previously worked at South Carolina from 2018 to 2020 as an undergraduate recruiting and player personnel assistant. He has degrees from South Carolina and Ole Miss.
Tiffany will replace Will Redmond, who left for a similar role at Auburn. LSU previously lost Jeremiah Bogan and Mike Ferrara, a pair of personnel assistants, to other schools.
Tiffany is the second Ole Miss staffer to be hired at LSU. Austin Thomas, previously the chief of staff with the Rebels, is the new senior associate athletics director for football administration.
