Following their romp over Kentucky on Saturday, LSU has crept back into the national polls. The Tigers (6-2, 2-2) re-entered the Amway Coaches Poll at No. 23 and at No. 24 in the AP poll. LSU had been unranked since falling 41-7 to Auburn.

On Saturday, LSU hosts Ole Miss, which ranks No. 3 in both polls following a 34-3 win over Tennessee. This will be the Tigers second game against a fellow ranked SEC team this season and third in total. The Tigers won a ranked showdown against Wisconsin in their opener, and lost to Auburn on the road in their second SEC game of the season.
