LSU had a good week on the diamond, and that week was rewarded on Monday when the SEC handed out weekly performance awards.

Star centerfielder Dylan Crews was named the Co-Player of the Week by the league office for his performance in the Tigers’ series win over Arkansas and a mid-week takedown of Central Arkansas. Crews shared the honor with Florida’s Jac Caglianone and Vanderbilt’s Parker Noland.

The junior led the top-ranked Tigers to 3 wins in 4 games last week. He batted .625 (10-for-16) across those 4 games, supplying 4 homers, 9 RBI, and 9 runs. He homered in each of the 4 games and extended his hitting streak to 22 games.

In the Tigers’ SEC series victory over Arkansas, Crews batted .615 (8-for-13) with 3 homers, 7 RBI, 7 runs, a .667 on-base percentage, and a 1.308 slugging percentage.

He currently leads the SEC in batting average (.531), on-base percentage (.658), slugging percentage (.988), base hits (43), and runs scored (46).

The Tigers (21-3, 4-2 SEC) host Grambling on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
