LSU star Dylan Crews earns SEC Co-Player of the Week honor
LSU had a good week on the diamond, and that week was rewarded on Monday when the SEC handed out weekly performance awards.
Star centerfielder Dylan Crews was named the Co-Player of the Week by the league office for his performance in the Tigers’ series win over Arkansas and a mid-week takedown of Central Arkansas. Crews shared the honor with Florida’s Jac Caglianone and Vanderbilt’s Parker Noland.
The junior led the top-ranked Tigers to 3 wins in 4 games last week. He batted .625 (10-for-16) across those 4 games, supplying 4 homers, 9 RBI, and 9 runs. He homered in each of the 4 games and extended his hitting streak to 22 games.
In the Tigers’ SEC series victory over Arkansas, Crews batted .615 (8-for-13) with 3 homers, 7 RBI, 7 runs, a .667 on-base percentage, and a 1.308 slugging percentage.

Louisiana online sports betting is officially live in much of the state. Louisiana joined the handful of other SEC football states with legalized sports betting in January 2022.
He currently leads the SEC in batting average (.531), on-base percentage (.658), slugging percentage (.988), base hits (43), and runs scored (46).
The Tigers (21-3, 4-2 SEC) host Grambling on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
