Marvel Allen, 2023 5-star guard, commits to SEC basketball program
Marvel Allen, one of the top prospects in the class of 2023, will play basketball in the SEC. Allen announced his commitment to Will Wade’s LSU Tigers on Friday night.

A West Palm Beach, Florida native, Allen is listed at 6-4, 190 pounds and rated 5-stars, the No. 4 point guard and No. 18 prospect overall nationally in 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. Out of Calvary Christian Academy, Allen has 17 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Ole Miss.
