Myles Brennan announces decision on where he’ll play in 2022
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Myles Brennan entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this year when it looked like Max Johnson had put his stamp on the starting job for the LSU Tigers.
But, recently, Johnson entered the portal and will explore his own transfer options rather than stay in Baton Rouge under new head coach Brian Kelly.
That left the starting QB job vacant in Baton Rouge, leading Brennan to post on Thursday morning that he was going to stay put at LSU after all:

That’s huge news for the Tigers, who now have Brennan in the mix alongside Garrett Nussmeier heading into 2022.
Brennan was playing really well in 2020 before suffering a season-ending injury. We’ll see if he can get back to that level under Kelly.
