Leonard Fournette may no longer be a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars but that doesn’t mean the running back is willing to concede his paycheck after the team released him.

According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Fournette has filed a grievance against the Jaguars in order to get the $4.167 million he was scheduled to make for playing this season.

That $4.167 million salary figure was voided the moment the Jaguars released the running back.

After the Jaguars released Fournette, the running back went unclaimed by the remaining 31 NFL teams during the waiver process. Due to no other team claiming him, Fournette is currently an unrestricted free agent.

During his three seasons in Jacksonville, Fournette rushed for 2,631 yards and 17 touchdowns. Fournette was the No. 4 overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft out of LSU, where he rushed for 3,475 yards and 34 touchdowns in his three seasons in Baton Rouge.
