Joe Burrow is getting some help in Cincinnati and it’s coming in the form of one of his former LSU teammates.

After being released by Washington late last week, the Bengals have claimed tight end Thaddeus Moss off waivers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

During LSU’s historic run to the 2019 national title, Burrow and Moss connected on 47 passes for 570 yards and four touchdowns. Moss saved his best performances for when the Tigers needed it the most, as the tight end scored three of his four touchdowns in LSU’s two College Football Playoff appearances.

Moss went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft and signed with Washington as a free agent. He did not appear in a game for the team last season.

Following this news, LSU issued the following response that all Tiger fans will enjoy.
