Odell Beckham Jr. is headed to the west coast. The former LSU standout has chosen to sign with the Los Angeles Rams.

There was confusion surrounding Beckham’s signing Thursday afternoon. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first to report Beckham was signing with the Los Angeles Rams. After Schefter’s tweet, Josina Anderson and Kim Jones each tweeted that Beckham was still deciding between the Rams and Green Bay Packers. Jourdan Rodrigue, who covers the Rams for The Athletic, noted that the Rams published an article about agreeing to terms with Beckham then took it down minutes later.

Jones then chimed in again on Twitter, sharing Beckham’s confirmation that he will indeed sign with the Rams.

The Rams officially announced the news a second time.

Beckham became a free agent after clearing waivers when he was let go by the Cleveland Browns. In his NFL career, Beckham has played in 88 games, recording 504 receptions for 7,062 yards and 51 touchdowns. This season, Beckham has 17 receptions for 232 yards in 6 games with the Browns. Beckham was selected by the New York Giants with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Beckham played with the Giants through the 2018 season. He was traded to the Browns ahead of the 2019 season.
