While many may not agree with Leonard Fournette’s decision to rest up his injured leg and not take part in bowl preparation for LSU’s Citrus Bowl appearance against Louisville, thus ending his college career early, you can likely relate to his main reason for risking any further injury.
Fournette has more than himself to think about these days, as he posted a picture of his daughter Lyric on Twitter Tuesday as a sober reality check for anyone calling out the LSU running back for making a wise business decision.

With Fournette’s college career now behind him after signing with an agent, LSU is able to prepare the team’s other running backs for the game against Louisville knowing No. 7 won’t be in the lineup for the New Year’s Eve game.
According to those well entrenched in the NFL draft circle, the decision to miss bowl prep should not affect Fournette’s draft status in the upcoming draft.
