The LSU Tigers have moved on from offensive coordinator Matt Canada after only one year, possibly due to repeated clashes with coach Ed Orgeron.

The biggest rumors for Canada’s replacement have centered around Steve Ensminger, who is already on LSU’s staff.

However, according to a recent report, the Tigers also reached out to USC OC Tee Martin to speak about the position, but nothing serious materialized:

Martin was also in the mix for the Tennessee head coaching job, but nothing serious ever materialized there, either.

It appears Ensminger is still the leader in the clubhouse to become the Tigers’ next OC, while Martin will seemingly end up remaining at USC for the time being.
