More details have come out since this morning when LSU announced it had suspended DE Ray Parker for a violation of team rules.

Parker was arrested for battery of a dating partner and simple criminal damage to property. He was booked around 8 a.m. Wednesday, Brooks Kubena of The Advocate reported.

The Ruston, La., native was redshirted in 2019, his first season with the Tigers.

Parker was rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 14 offensive tackle prospect in the nation and a top 10 overall prospect from Louisiana in his class. He signed with LSU over Ole Miss and Tennessee.
