The Carolina Panthers recently hired Matt Rhule from Baylor to be their new head coach, replacing Ron Rivera.
Now, the Panthers could be targeting another high-profile guy from the college ranks to help fill out Rhule’s staff.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Panthers are looking at LSU co-OC Joe Brady to become the team’s new offensive coordinator:
In the coaching world, #Panthers fans may want to watch #LSU vs. #Clemson in the national title game. LSU’s passing game coordinator Joe Brady is name being considered by Carolina coach Matt Rhule for his new OC, sources say. Rhule has other options, but Brady is a strong one.

Everyone with an opening at this point seems to have interest in Brady, but LSU is going to do everything it can to keep him around.
Will the Tigers manage to keep Brady in Baton Rouge? We should find out pretty quickly after Monday’s national title game.
