Sevyn Banks, highly sought-after Ohio State CB, announces SEC transfer destination
Sevyn Banks was a 4-star cornerback in the class of 2018, signing with the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He’s spent the past 4 seasons in Columbus, becoming a key part of Ohio State’s secondary in 2021 before injuries sidelined his season.
He entered the transfer portal rather than the NFL Draft this offseason and, on Tuesday, Banks announced he was committing to LSU:

In 4 years at Ohio State, Banks played in 24 games, recording 43 tackles (3 for a loss). He also had 1 interception, 10 pass breakups and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
What sort of role will Banks carve out for himself in Baton Rouge this fall? We’ll see if he can improve his draft stock with the Tigers in 2022.
