Tampa Bay’s Super Bowl halftime pep talk appears to have lit a fire under Leonard Fournette. The former LSU standout came out running hard on the Buccaneers’ first possession of the second half.

On a six-play, 74-yard scoring drive, Fournette ran the ball three times and had a 12-yard reception. He went untouched on a 27-yard touchdown run, extending Tampa Bay’s lead over Kansas City. With the extra point, the Bucs went up 28-9 over the Chiefs in the third quarter.

Perhaps Tampa Bay would have an even bigger lead if they had given Fournette the ball on the goal line.
