Superdome is available for LSU-BYU game if necessary
As devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey continues to pound the Houston area, football is of the least concern right now.
However, the LSU Tigers and BYU Cougars are supposed to play a game at NRG Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2, but that game could be in jeopardy.
As officials try to decide whether to move the game or not, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans (which is managed by the same group as NRG Stadium) says it is available to host the contest:

The statement says the preference is to play the game in Houston still, but based on the flooding that has already occurred and what is expected to occur over the coming days, that may be unrealistic at this point.
Thankfully, the Superdome is available as a backup plan, which should ensure that the game does get played as scheduled on Sept. 2.
