LSU QB Joe Burrow is having a special season so far, leading the Tigers to a 6-0 record and the No. 2 spot in the AP Poll at the season’s halfway point.

He’s rewriting LSU’s school passing records, and he’s only just getting started. He’s also earning some legitimate Heisman buzz.

On SportsCenter on Saturday morning, former Florida QB Tim Tebow explained what he likes most about Burrow’s game:

“Well, first, just look at those stats,” Tebow said on SportsCenter. “He’s just destroying everyone else in the country with his statistics. He’s destroying history with his statistics. But I got to say what’s most impressive about Joe Burrow is that he’s at his best when his best is needed. At Texas, late in the third quarter on third and 17, that’s when he’s getting it done. Against Florida, finding ways to go on game-winning drives. That’s what I love most, and why he changes this LSU team is because he’s got such a swagger and a belief. They look at him, and they believe he can get it done.

“That’s why I’m excited about Joe Burrow and this LSU football team.”

Will Burrow keep the good times going in Baton Rouge? Will he win the Heisman Trophy?

We’ll find out during the second half of the 2019 season.
