Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow knows a little something about beating Georgia. While he was the signal caller in Gainesville, the Gators went 3-1 against the Bulldogs.

He never threw more than two passing touchdowns against them though, and thinks LSU quarterback Joe Burrow’s targets will need to step their game up if the Tigers are going to emerge victorious against the Bulldogs Saturday in Baton Rouge.

Georgia has allowed just 3.6 yards per attempt on the ground so far this season, and LSU is averaging 4.4 yards per rush. Something will have to give, and he doesn’t think it will be Georgia’s defensive line.

That means the primary matchup to watch will be sophomore LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson against the Georgia defensive backfield which includes Richard LeCounte who already has 27 tackles this season and senior Deandre Baker who leads the team with two interceptions.

LSU has made a living on the ground with 15 touchdowns compared to just 6 passing. If Georgia can stifle the running game like Tebow predicts, the Bulldogs could easily come out on top.

Tebow and everyone else can see if his analysis is correct Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
