With LSU beating South Carolina 31-17, wide receiver Trey Palmer just did something that no Tigers player has done in Death Valley since Eric Martin did it in 1981 — return a kickoff for a touchdown.

Yes, it’s been that long.

Palmer even bobbled the kickoff attempt at first, but then he picked it up and torched South Carolina’s kickoff team en route to the 95-yard touchdown.

Following Palmer’s return, LSU now leads South Carolina 38-17 with just over 8 minutes left in the third quarter.
