Tiger Stadium is known for being one of the loudest and most intimidating venues in college football, especially because of its rowdy student section in the north end zone.

The stadium — and especially the student section — were quieted on the final play of Saturday’s game against Florida.

The No. 23 Gators came up with a goal-line stand on the final play of the contest to defeat No. 16 LSU 16-10. Reggie Chatman, an a reporter for LSU student media’s Tiger TV, tweeted a video showing the student section’s reaction to the gut-wrenching play.

Tiger Stadium is largely silent, except for the pocket of Florida fans in the visiting section directly across from the students.
