LSU OG commit Kardell Thomas (Baton Rouge, La.) is competing at the prestigious high school camp The Opening this weekend.

The camp began Saturday at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium for the first time in the event’s history, and it’s scheduled to conclude on July 3rd. Thomas, the nation’s No. 1 ranked OG prospect for the class of 2019, is there and competing against the nation’s best. It’s hard to miss the 6-foot-3, 356-pound mammoth, too.

The Athletic’s Max Olson shared a video via Twitter that showed Thomas “ready to brawl if necessary.” That’s probably a stretch, but it was certainly an entertaining rep, nonetheless. When you’re a 5-star prospect, you have to keep impressing talent evaluators in order to keep that 5th star, and he’s just making sure everyone knows he means business … with a little swag.

Thomas has been committed to LSU since July 2016, and he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 18 overall prospect and the state of Louisiana’s No. 3 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
