WATCH: LSU mascot 'goes fishing' for landsharks ahead of Ole Miss game
Fishing isn’t the first thing that comes to mind for LSU football, but this week, the Tigers evidently are grabbing a tackle box and looking for a bite against Ole Miss, if this video is any indication.
Mike the Tiger’s Twitter account posted a cheesy video of the LSU mascot, complete with fishing waders, looking for “landsharks” with a fishing pole. The one-minute video keeps the suspense building throughout until the mascot eventually finds a bite, and the depiction even appears to show blood on the landshark.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences may not be calling for this one, but it at least adds some entertainment to the Ed Orgeron reunion at Ole Miss.
LSU and Ole Miss kick off at 7:15 p.m. Eastern on Saturday in Oxford.
