What Joe Burrow said about Tua Tagovailoa's season-ending injury
Just one week ago, Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa were going head-to-head in the terrific LSU-Alabama game. Burrow got the better of Tagovailoa and Alabama in the 46-41 win over the Tide.
Fast forward one week, and Tagovailoa suffered a season-ending hip injury Saturday against Mississippi State. Burrow, on the other hand, further solidified his Heisman Trophy status with a ridiculous 489-yard, five-touchdown performance in the win over Ole Miss.
Following the Tigers win over the Rebels, Burrow was asked about Tagovailoa’s season-ending injury.
Joe Burrow said he watched Tua’s injury before the game: “That’s too bad. You hate to see that. I hope he can come back better and stronger than ever.”
