Just one week ago, Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa were going head-to-head in the terrific LSU-Alabama game. Burrow got the better of Tagovailoa and Alabama in the 46-41 win over the Tide.

Fast forward one week, and Tagovailoa suffered a season-ending hip injury Saturday against Mississippi State. Burrow, on the other hand, further solidified his Heisman Trophy status with a ridiculous 489-yard, five-touchdown performance in the win over Ole Miss.

Following the Tigers win over the Rebels, Burrow was asked about Tagovailoa’s season-ending injury.

Burrow and LSU were able to see what happened to the Alabama quarterback prior to the Ole Miss game Saturday night.

The Tigers quarterback is the Heisman Trophy frontrunner heading into Week 13.
