Will Wade’s LSU team will reportedly play a game in Staples Center next season

LSU is headed to California next season.
That’s the word from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports who is reporting that the Tigers will play USC in Staples Center next season. LSU is coming off a season in which it won the regular-season SEC title.
In addition to the LSU vs. USC matchup, San Diego State and Utah will face off in a doubleheader of action from Staples Center.
While the Tigers lost some star power from last year’s team, LSU did recently land a commitment from five-star Trendon Watford and Skylar Mays, Marlon Taylor, Javonte Smart and Emmitt Williams have all decided to return to school after initially exploring other options.
