Even though the LSU Tigers haven’t had consistent quarterback play for a decade or more now, they always manage to produce some elite receivers.

Currently, Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry are tearing up the NFL, while DJ Chark continues to rise up draft boards ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft.

On Wednesday, the Tigers landed what could be their next elite receiver, as 2020 WR Kris Abrams-Draine announced his verbal commitment to LSU:

Abrams-Draine, an Alabama native, has yet to be evaluated by 247Sports or the other major recruiting services.

However, considering he had offers from Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee and other schools, it’s likely he’ll be a sought-after player in the next couple of years.

Abrams-Draine is the first commitment in LSU’s 2020 class.
