Charges filed against 7 Michigan State players for tunnel incident against Michigan

Charges have officially been filed against seven Michigan State football players following their involvement in the tunnel altercation against Michigan earlier this season.
Cornerback Khary Crump has been charged with felonious assault, defensive end Jacoby Windmon has been charged with assault and battery and 5 others have been charged with aggravated assault.

violation of MCL 750.82, a felony - Itayvion Brown: One count of aggravated assault, in
violation of MCL 750.8la, a misdemeanor - Angelo Grose: One count of aggravated assault, in
violation of MCL 750.8la. a misdemeanor - Justin White: One count of aggravated assault, in
violation of MCL 750.8la, a misdemeanor - Brandon Wright: One count of aggravated assault, in
violation of MCL 750.8la, a misdemeanor - Zion Young: One count of aggravated assault, in
violation of MCL 750.8la. a misdemeanor - Jacoby Windmon: One count of assault & battery, in
violation of MCL 750.81, a misdemeanor

Following the the Spartans’ 29-7 loss to the Wolverines on Oct. 29, video showed Michigan State players kicking and punching a Michigan player. MSU suspended 8 players afterward.
