This one came down to the wire but elite running back Donovan Edwards has made his final decision.

In a nationally televised commitment ceremony on Wednesday, Edwards made the decision to play his college football at Michigan.

The West Bloomfield High School standout running was down to Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame heading into the Early Signing Period.

A native of West Bloomfield, Mich., Edwards is rated as the No. 4 running back prospect in the nation for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. In addition to being an elite running back prospect, Edwards was selected to play in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game before that event was canceled due to COVID.
