Jim Harbaugh issues statement expressing Michigan’s desire to play following reports of Big Ten canceling the upcoming season

Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are ready to play in 2020.

Will the Big Ten allow them to do so? That’s another issue but following a Monday report from the Detroit Free Press claiming that the Big Ten has already decided to cancel the league’s 2020 football season, Harbaugh has publicly expressed his desire to see his team play this fall.

In a lengthy statement, which can be read below, Harbaugh points out that his program has done an excellent job handling COVID and testing protocols that have been in place all offseason.

No matter what you think of Michigan’s coach, it’s great to see Harbaugh join the “We Want To Play” movement, hopefully in time before any final decisions are made regarding the upcoming college football season that can’t be undone.
