Remember this name: Blaze Jordan.

Not only is he an All-Name Team candidate, but he’s one of the best up-and-coming MLB prospects in the nation. Jordan is committed to Mississippi State, and he already has reclassified from 2021 to 2020. However, the DeSoto Central (Southaven, Miss.) High infielder may never make it to college, as he’s the top MLB Draft prospect.

Jordan, just 16, already has nearly 60,000 Instagram followers, and he recently won the High School Home Run Derby in front of a packed Progressive Field Monday night. Jordan beat Louisville commit AJ Vukovich by hitting seven home runs in 90 seconds. That’s why they say hitting is aerobic.

“It was crazy, with all the fans out there,” said Jordan, via MLB.com. “Being able to experience that and being out in front of all those people, compete against AJ, that was great. He started off really well, it was tough to come back, but I was glad I could pull it off. It was just an amazing experience.”

The 6-foot-2, 218-pound slugger shared the video footage on his Instagram page:
