Dak Prescott made Dallas Cowboys franchise history on Saturday night.

Prescott entered Dallas’ season finale against Philadelphia with 32 touchdown passes in 2021. The former Mississippi State standout threw 5 TDs in the Cowboys’ blowout win, giving him 37 for the season, a new franchise record. Tony Romo held the previous record of 36.

Prescott’s record-breaking touchdown came early in the fourth quarter when he found Corey Clement on an 8-yard pass.

The 2021 NFL season included a 17th game, which is likely to affect many single-season records, but Prescott played in only 16 games this year. In addition to the 37 passing touchdowns, he had 1 rushing score this season.
