Dak Prescott went straight home for Thanksgiving dinner after thrilling win
Dak Prescott has emerged as one of the top young players in the NFL, but that doesn’t appear to be going to his head.
The former Mississippi State quarterback has led the Dallas Cowboys to a 10-1 record, including 10 straight wins, and looks like one of the league’s future stars. Instead of celebrating an exciting 31-26 victory over the Washington Redskins, however, Prescott jumped on a plane and flew straight to Louisiana for Thanksgiving dinner with his family.

Always considered mature beyond his years while leading the Bulldogs to new highs, Prescott is sticking true to form and keeping his priorities in the right place.
I love him as much as the next guy, but this is getting silly.
As a State fan you’ve heard this story for 5 years or more. As, an SEC fan this is probably year 3. And, the rest of the world this is new for them.
I have always disliked the Cowboys. My pride has always been and will always with the Saints, but I will admit, I have enjoyed watching the Cowboys play. I am a LSU fan first and a SEC fan second and I enjoyed watching Dak at Miss St. His success does not surprise me, but I didn’t think it would happen as early as it did when he was first drafted.
Can’t help but like the guy. Doesn’t give you any reason not to.
