With the COVID-19 outbreak spreading around the globe, essential employees like police, hospital workers, grocery store workers, delivery people and more are putting themselves at risk to keep the country running.

Fortunately, several college football coaches (including Will Muschamp and his wife, Carol) are pitching in to help make sure those who still have to go to work to keep society afloat have things to eat.

And, on Wednesday, former Mississippi State coach Joe Moorhead sent lunch to the police officers in Starkville:

Considering Moorhead is now at Oregon after Mississippi State fired him after only 2 years, this is a super classy gesture from the former Bulldogs coach.

It’s clear Moorhead appreciated the community he got to live in while he was in Mississippi.
