Following a highly criticized tweet from new Mississippi State coach Mike Leach recently, Bulldog DL Fabien Lovett announced he was entering the transfer portal.

His father confirmed that Leach’s tweet had a lot to do with his son’s decision to leave Starkville, and now it seems Fabien has decided on a new school.

As you can see below, Lovett took to Twitter on Monday to announce he was transferring to Florida State:

Lovett appeared in 11 games for the Bulldogs in 2019, recording 19 tackles (2.5 for a loss) and 1 sack. He was a 3-star recruit out of Olive Branch, Mississippi, in the 2018 recruiting class.
