Former Mississippi State offensive lineman Gabe Jackson had to be carted off the field at Thursday’s Oakland Raiders-Los Angeles Rams joint practice.
According to reports, Jackson needed the cart to be removed from the field after he was unable to put pressure on his leg. Oakland coach Jon Gruden did not have details on the injury, but told reporters after practice that he was concerned by what he saw.
The injury bug hasn’t been kind to Jackson over the last few months.vAfter starting the first 13 games for the Raiders in 2018, Jackson suffered an elbow injury in Week 14 that landed him on injured reserve, ending his season prematurely. The former third-round selection from the 2014 NFL Draft is entering his sixth professional season, all with the Raiders.
Injury happened in a team period. Entire Raiders offensive line gathered around RG Gabe Jackson before cart drove him away for further evaluation.
