Brown missed last weekend’s scrimmage due to what Mullen referred to as a “family matter”, according to Bonner.
Brown caught 27 passes for 412 yards and three touchdowns last season, and was expected to return as a complementary weapon to No. 1 receiver Fred Ross.
It is a significant loss for the football program, as the Bulldogs try to maintain their potent passing attack following the departures of QB Dak Prescott and WR De’Runnya Wilson.
