Gabriel Moore, a 6-foot-4 and 250-pound Edge prospect out of Louisville, Mississippi, has announced a commmitment to play in the SEC.

Moore has 7 offers, and announced that he would play at Mississippi State after he was recruited by Jeff Phelps. Moore was previously committed to Troy, but decommitted in October. The 247Sports Composite ranks him the No. 111 defensive lineman in the class of 2023, and the No. 20 prospect in the state of Mississippi.

“I’m staying in the sip,” he wrote on social media.

Moore made the announcement after he helped his team win a state championship. It was a 17-14 win against Mendenhall in the MHSAA Class 4A championship. Moore forced a fumble to get the ball back to Louisville with 32 seconds to go, the Clarion-Ledger reported.
